Fredrika Newton wears KHIRY
Fredrika Newton at the unveiling of the Dr. Huey P. Newton statue in Oakland last weekend.
Fredrika Newton collaborated with sculptor Dana King to celebrate her late husband and a co-founder of the Black Panther party during the Party’s 55th anniversary last week. The statue stands at the intersection of Mandela Parkway and Dr. Huey P. Newton Way, where Dr. Newton passed away in 1989.
Fredrika Newton continues her husband’s rich legacy as president of the Huey P Newton Foundation. We strongly believe in the foundation’s work and mission to preserve the memory and contributions of the Black Panther Party.
We’re honored to have had Mrs. Newton wear the KHIRY Khartoum Hoops Embellished, styled by our Oakland family at McMullen.
